In this paper, we provide a su cient condition for asymptotic stability of a system with a single time delay in a state expressed as an linear matrix inequality(LMI). We consider a time delay as a inverse uncertainty con guration.
The guaranteed cost control problem of the decentralized robust control for nonlinear large– scale uncertain delay systems under controller gain perturbations is considered. Sufficient condition for the existence of the guaranteed cost control is given in terms of the linear matrix inequality (LMI). It is shown that the decentralized local state feedback controllers can be obtained by solving t...
This paper investigates the problem of asymptotic stability for neutral delay-differential systems. Using the Lyapunov method, we derive a new delay-dependent sufficient condition for the stability of systems in terms of the linear matrix inequality (LMI). Numerical examples show that the results obtained in this paper significantly improve the estimate of stability limit over some existing res...
In this paper, we propose a new delay-dependent stability criterion for dynamic systems with time-varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. Based on the Lyapunov method, a sufficient delay-dependent criterion for asymptotic stability is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of our result. 2008 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
In this study, the model-matching problem (MMP) in two degree of freedom (2DOF) control structure is defined and solved in the sense of the H∞ optimality criterion in the framework Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) by using the results on the standard H∞ OCP.
By using the Lyapunov functional method, stochastic analysis, and LMI (linear matrix inequality) approach, the mean square exponential stability of an equilibrium solution of uncertain stochastic Hopfield neural networks with delayed is presented. The proposed result generalizes and improves previous work. An illustrative example is also given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed re...
This paper investigates the global asymptotical stability problems for delayed neural networks. By introducing some triple integral terms in the constructing of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, combined with the inequality analysis, a new asymptotical stability condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities are proposed, Finally, numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness ...
This paper deals with the class of singular LPV systems. Sufficient conditions on controllers design are developed in the LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) terms. In order to reduce the conservatism of the developed result using quadratic method, an approach based on polyquadratic Lyapunov functions is proposed. Numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.
We show in the present paper that many open and challenging problems in control theory belong to the class of concave minimization programs. More precisely, these problems can be recast as the minimization of a concave objective function over convex LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) constraints. In this setting, these problems can then be eeciently handled using local and/or global optimization te...
The paper studies delay-dependent global robust problem for a class of uncertain stochastic delayed neural networks of neutral-type with discrete and distributed delays. Novel stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) by employing the LyapunovKrasovskii functional method and using the free-weighting matrices technique. In addition, two examples are given to show...
