We describe a calculation of the fully-differential decay rate of a top quark to a massless b-quark and a lepton pair at next-to-next-to-leading order in perturbative QCD. Technical details of the calculation are discussed and selected results for kinematic distributions are shown.

The phenomenology of gluon saturation at small parton momentum fraction, Bjorken-x, in the proton and in the nucleus is introduced. The experimentally-accessible kinematic domains at the nucleus–nucleus colliders RHIC and LHC are discussed.
