Many physical systems contains fast and slow phenomenons. In this paper we propose a dynamic neural networks with different timescales to model the nonlinear system. Passivity-based approach is used to derive stability conditions for neural identifer. Several stability properties, such as passivity, asymptotic stability, input-to-state stability and bounded input bounded output stability, are g...

in this paper, under the existence of system uncertainties, external disturbances, and input nonlinearity, global finite time synchronization between two identical attractors which belong to a class of second-order chaotic nonlinear gyros are achieved by considering a method of continuous smooth second-order sliding mode control (hoamsc). it is proved that the proposed controller is robust to m...

The notion of input-to-state stability (ISS) has proved to be useful in nonlinear systems analysis. This paper discusses a dual notion, output-to-state stability (OSS). A characterization is provided in terms of a dissipation inequality involving storage (Lyapunov) functions. Combining ISS and OSS there results the notion of input/output-to-state stability (IOSS), which is also studied and rela...

This paper studies the stability analysis of multivariable fuzzy control systems. Particularly, the stability of Takagi-Sugeno (TS) systems is addressed. The results presented in the paper make possible the application of both input-output and frequency response methods to TS systems identified from Input-Output data. The paper also presents the Fuzzy Algorithm Stability Tool (FAST) toolbox dev...

The two main topics addressed are: (i) the relationship between internal, external, and input-output stability, and (ii) stability of time-invariant systems including a new Banach-space formula for the stability radius. With regard to (i), we show that a nonautonomous system is internally stable if and only if it is stabilizable, detectable and input-output stable; the short proof seems to be n...

In this paper, a human-machine shared stability control strategy is proposed for a walking-chair robot with human in the loop. We consider the human in the loop as the torso of the robot and human movement as disturbance control to the system stability. Then the safe input regions for joints are given based on the zero moment point(ZMP) criterion. The control inputs to the system are defined ac...

In this article, vehicle cornering stability and brake stabilization via bifurcation analysis has been investigated. In order to extract the governing equations of motion, a nonlinear four-wheeled vehicle model with two degrees of freedom has been developed. Using the continuation software package MatCont a stability analysis based on phase plane analysis and bifurcation of equilibrium is perfo...

Building on recent work on homogeneous cooperative systems, we extend results concerning stability of such systems to subhomogeneous systems. We also consider subhomogeneous cooperative systems with constant input, and relate the global asymptotic stability of the unforced system to the existence and stability of positive equilibria for the system with input.
