Device modeling of novel semiconductor devices requires adapted physical models which include quantum mechanical effects. The quantum hydrodynamic as well as the quantum drift diffusion model offers effective possibilities for the simulation of nanoscale devices, particularly if tunneling processes appear. The models can be implemented effectively in conventional device simulation systems.

Geographical science faculty, Kharzmi University Negar Gholami, MA in Geomorphology, Geographical science faculty, Kharzmi University Extended abstract Floodplains and adjacent riv...
in coastal areas, hydrodynamic factors make changes in shorelines geomorphology. this can affect coastal facilities and cause hazards to human societies in the areas. this study has investigated the influence of wave and tide properties on khamir port, hormoz strait in coast of persian gulf. the purpose of the study is to make a mathematical regional and local modeling of water level fluctuatio...
The generation of sea surface waves by winds is one of the fundamental air-sea interaction processes which affect the global climate. Although this topic has been studied extensively through both physical modeling and experimental measurements, understanding of the physics involved remains limited due to the nonlinear phenomena implicit in both air flow and sea surface wave evolution. Numerical...
The rapid development of free and open-access hydrological models coupling framework tools continues to present more opportunities for coupled model improved assessment floodplain hydrology. In this study, we set up an Upper Zambezi a fully spatially hydrological-hydrodynamic the Barotse Floodplain using GLOFRIM (GLObally applicable computational FRamework Integrated hydrological–hydrodynamic M...
A devastating flood in Red River valley in 1997 emphasized the need to study the flood control measures in the Red River basin using state of the art modeling tools. The Red River and its floodplains can be modeled using one-dimensional, quasi two-dimensional or fully two-dimensional hydrodynamic models. Each modeling approach has its own advantages and limitations. The main purpose of this rep...
