P-fuzzy dynamical systems are variational systems whose dynamic is obtained by means of a Mamdani type fuzzy rule-based system. In this paper, particularly, we are going to approach the 1-dimensional p-fuzzy dynamical systems and will present theorems that establish conditions of existence and uniqueness of stationary points. Besides the obtained analytical results, we will present examples tha...

Abstract This paper presents the stability and rnbustncss analysis for fiizzy control system subject to paramctcr uncertainties, and the design of gains for thc fuzzy controller. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, stnbility nnd robustness conditions will be derived. The stability conditions involves only p+l linear matrix inequalities, where p i s the numbcr of rulcs of thc fuzzy controller. A...

In this paper, the cobondage set and cobondage number bC(G) of a fuzzy graph G are defined. The upper bound of a fuzzy graph with p nodes is given as min(p − (1 + S(G)), S(G) + 1). The exact values of bC(G) for some standard fuzzy graphs are found. Some results on bC(G) are also discussed. A numerical example is also illustrated. In testing hypotheses, we may confront with cases where data are recorded as non-precise (fuzzy) rather than crisp. In such situations, the classical methods of testing hypotheses are not capable and need to be generalized. In solving the problem of testing hypotheses based on fuzzy data, the fuzziness of the observed data leads to the fuzzy p-value. This paper has been focused to calculate fuz...

When dealing with multi-criteria decision making problems, the concept of Pareto-optimality and Pareto-dominance may be inefficient (e.g. generally multiple solutions exist), especially when there is a large number of criteria. Our paper considers the fuzzy multi-criteria decision making problem based on Zadeh’s linguistic approach to P-optimality and P-dominance. The construction, analysis and...

Control charts are widely used in industry as a tool to monitor process characteristics. Deviations from process targets can be detected based on the evidence of statistical significance. The control chart helps to take decisions such as the need for machine or technology replacement to monitor the process with categorical observations. Fuzzy logic is used to cram the uncertainty and vagueness ...

We apply fuzzy techniques to incorporate external data into p-median problems. So we can detect certain solutions that would be discarded by usual crisp and fuzzy algorithms but that contrasted with this additional information can be advantageous. This usually reveals a pathology of the model and hence our methods provide some fuzzy validation criteria for p-median models. Ó 2001 Elsevier Scien...

Abstract In this paper we have investigated a fuzzy linear programming problem with fuzzy quantities which are LR triangular fuzzy numbers. The given linear programming problem is rearranged according to the satisfactory level of constraints using breaking point method. By considering the constraints, the arranged problem has been investigated for all optimal solutions connected with satisf...

Presented is a completeness theorem for fuzzy equational logic with truth values in a complete residuated lattice: Given a fuzzy set Σ of identities and an identity p ≈ q, the degree to which p ≈ q syntactically follows (is provable) from Σ equals the degree to which p ≈ q semantically follows from Σ. Pavelka style generalization of well-known Birkhoff’s theorem is therefore established.

In the literature, there are a lot of methods concerning the problem of ordering the interval numbers k , ~ ] , [y,g], ... (', ') or the fuzzy ones A, B , ... (see 4, and for a n overview of methods). All of these methods can be classified a s belonging t o two different approaches. (i) Ordering t h e crisp or the fuzzy intervals using binary order relations: [ c , ~ ] 4 [ y , ~ ] , A 5 B, .......
