First, Similarity Of Fuzzy Ontology Generation For Semantic Web, Fuzzy Formal Concept Analysis incorporates fuzzy logic into Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) to form a fuzzy concept lattice. The fuzzy ontology is an extension of the domain ontology for solving the uncertainty problems. Fuzzy Conceptual Clustering then constructs the concept hierarchy from the fuzzy concept lattice. Finally, Fuzzy ...

In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problem based on the arithmetic and geometric aggregation operators with hesitant fuzzy linguistic information. Then, motivated by the idea of traditional arithmetic operation, we have developed some aggregation operators for aggregating hesitant fuzzy linguistic information: hesitant fuzzy linguistic weighted average (...

The management of the health-care wastes is one of the most important problems in Istanbul, a city with more than 12 million inhabitants, as it is in most of the developing countries. Negligence in appropriate treatment and final disposal of the healthcare wastes can lead to adverse impacts to public health and to the environment. This paper employs a fuzzy multi-criteria group decision making ...

Complete pre-orders can be characterized in terms of the transitivity of the corresponding strict preference and indifference relations. In this paper, we investigate this characterization in a fuzzy setting. We consider two types of completeness (weak completeness and strong completeness) and decompose a fuzzy pre-order by means of an indifference generator, in particular a Frank t-norm. In th...

The concept of an image of a fuzzy set under a fuzzy relation has proved to be a very powerful tool in fuzzy set theoretical applications. In this paper, we explain how it can be used to model linguistic expressions. For the representation of expressions, such as “at least middle-aged”, “brighter than average”, we will use fuzzy ordering relations, while resemblance relations will be suitable t...

Species selection based on a new method such as a fuzzy method is one of the most important stages in the successful plantation management planning as choosing a suitable species for the site can be the key to success. This paper is based on a fuzzy extension of the Technique or Order Preference which is similar to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The purpose of this paper is to develop fuzzy TO...

The designer of a model to solve decision making problems usually have to face different aspects to finally be able to obtain the solution for a problem. Many of this aspects directly depend on the representation format and semantics of the information provided by the experts. In many occasions experts can not easily represent their preferences using artificial preference structures as fuzzy pr...

The paper proposes an evaluation model based on fuzzy AHP to help users select CAS that best matches their requirements. The subjectiveness and imprecision of the evaluation process are modeled using linguistic terms. The evaluation criteria framework based on the usability and problem solving capability of CAS is developed. Fuzzy (AHP) is employed to determine the relative importance weights o...

Most decision-making and problem-solving tasks are too complex to be understood quantitatively. People perform such tasks using knowledge that is imprecise rather than precise. This study presents consistent fuzzy linguistic preference relations rather than fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to select computer integrated manufactory (CIM) systems. The proposed method yields decision matric...

An interactive procedure for generating a user-tailored fuzzy preference relation on intervals is proposed. This procedure allows the decision maker to choose a preference relation which suits best his intuition. The procedure is easy to use (it makes use of graphical representation) and general enough to comprise, as special cases, the intervals proposed in the literature.
