Adding explicit mass terms for the spin 2 and spin 3/2 field of N = 1 anti-de Sitter supergravity, the limit M → 0 for these mass terms is smooth: there is no van DamVeltman-Zakharov mass discontinuity in the propagators when the cosmological constant is non-vanishing.

The two-dimensional Zakharov system is shown to have a unique global solution for data without finite energy if the L-norm of the Schrödinger part is small enough. The proof uses a refined I-method originally initiated by Colliander, Keel, Staffilani, Takaoka and Tao. A polynomial growth bound for the solution is also given.

The soliton solution of the integrable coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) of Manakov type is investigated by using Zakharov-Shabat (ZS) scheme. In this paper, we study the generalized Zakharov equations with perspective different from those done previously, namely, by determining its symmetry generators, constructing some conservation laws and then use the associations between these to attain a double reduction of the corresponding differential equations leading to two travelling wave solutions.
