A method for finding of the solutions of the state equations of descriptor fractional discrete-time linear systems with regular pencils and a procedure for computation of transition matrices of the system are proposed. On the basis of this procedure a computer algorithm which calculates the transition matrices and solution of the system is presented. The effectiveness of the proposed procedure ...

Automata-based modeling of hybrid and cyber-physical systems (CPS) is an important formal abstraction amenable to algorithmic analysis its dynamic behaviors, such as in verification, fault identification, anomaly detection. However, for realistic systems, especially industrial ones, identifying automata challenging, due part inferring interactions, which involves inference both continuous throu...

We define quantitative similarity functions between timed transition systems that measure the degree of closeness of two systems as a real, in contrast to the traditional boolean yes/no approach to timed simulation and language inclusion. Two systems are close if for each timed trace of one system, there exists a corresponding timed trace in the other system with the same sequence of events and...

We consider systems with continuous spins and annealed dilution. We show that, as in the discrete case, such systems often undergo a phase transition, which is manifested in the appearance of a staggered intermediate phase. In particular, these phases appear in systems such as the massive Gaussian model where there is no phase transition in the undiluted system.

A performance evaluation of a crossbar network is presented using discrete-time Markov chain (MC). Identical processors, totally synchronized with system clock and communicating through common memory modules. Simple MC models the behavior of each processor. We have developed state and output equations for discrete-time state space model. The transition probabilities of transition matrices are c...

We start from a basic and fruitful idea in current work on the formal analysis and veriication of hybrid and real-time systems: the uniform representation of both sorts of state dynamics { both continuous evolution within a control mode, and the eeect of discrete jumps between control modes { as abstract transition relations over a hybrid space X Q R n , where Q is a nite set of control modes. ...

We determine the extreme points of the set of graph traces of norm one for any finite graph E satisfying Condition (K). We also describe an application to the space of tracial states on the graph C∗-algebra.

this paper deals with the problem of forbidden states in discrete event systems modeled by petri net. to avoid the forbidden states, some constraints which are called generalized mutual exclusion constraints can be assigned to them. enforcing these constraints on the system can be performed using control places. however, when the number of these constraints is large, a large number of control p...

This paper proposes a discrete-time repetitive optimal control of electrically driven robotic manipulators using an uncertainty estimator. The proposed control method can be used for performing repetitive motion, which covers many industrial applications of robotic manipulators. This kind of control law is in the class of torque-based control in which the joint torques are generated by permanen...
