we commence by using from a new norm on l1(g) the -algebra of all integrable functions on locally compact group g, to make the c-algebra c(g). consequently, we find its dual b(g), which is a banach algebra so-called fourier-stieltjes algebra, in the set of all continuous functions on g. we consider most of important basic theorems about this algebra. this consideration leads to a rather com...

In this paper, we study norm almost periodic measures on locally compact Abelian groups. First, show that the periodicity of $$\mu $$ is equivalent to equi-Bohr *g$$ for all g in a fixed family functions. Then, that, absolutely continuous measures, Stepanov Radon–Nikodym density.

G-frames are natural generalizations of frames which cover many other recent generalizations of frames, e.g., bounded quasi-projectors, frames of subspaces, outer frames, oblique frames, pseudo-frames and a class of timefrequency localization operators. Moreover, it was shown that g-frames are equivalent to stable space splittings. In this paper, we study the stability of g-frames. We first pre...

We give a description of all transmutation operators from the Bessel-Struve operator to the second-derivative operator. Next we define and characterize the mean-periodic functions on the space Ᏼ of entire functions and we characterize the continuous linear mappings from Ᏼ into itself which commute with Bessel-Struve operator. 1. Introduction. Let A and B be two differential operators on a linea...

The canonical evolution and symmetry generators are exhibited for a Klein-Gordon (K-G) system which has been partitioned by an accelerated coordinate frame into a pair of subsystems. This partitioning of the K-G system is conveyed to the canonical generators by the eigenfunction property of the Minkowski Bessel (M-B) modes. In terms of the M-B degrees of freedom, which are unitarily related to ...

We show that if a locally compact group G acts properly on a locally compact σ-compact space X, then there is a family of G-invariant proper continuous finite-valued pseudometrics which induces the topology of X. If X is, furthermore, metrizable, then G acts properly on X if and only if there exists a G-invariant proper compatible metric on X.

The Green function of Mumford-Shah functional in the absence of discontinuities is known to be a modified Bessel function of the second kind and zero degree. Such a Bessel function is regularized here and used as a filter for feature extraction. It is demonstrated in this paper that a Bessel filter does not follow the scale space smoothing property of bounded linear filters such as Gaussian fil...

Let the Bessel number of the second kind B(n, k) be the number of set partitions of [n] into k blocks of size one or two, and let the Bessel number of the first kind b(n, k) be the coefficient of x in −yn−1(−x) , where yn(x) is the nth Bessel polynomial. In this paper, we show that Bessel numbers satisfy two properties of Stirling numbers: The two kinds of Bessel numbers are related by inverse ...

We introduce a family of number triangles defined by exponential Riordan arrays, which generalize Pascal’s triangle. We characterize the row sums and central coefficients of these triangles, and define and study a set of generalized Catalan numbers. We establish links to the Hermite, Laguerre and Bessel polynomials, as well as links to the Narayana and Lah numbers.

A strict quantization of a Poisson manifold P on a subset I ⊆ R containing 0 as an accumulation point is defined as a continuous field of C∗-algebras {Ah̄}h̄∈I , with A0 = C0(P ), a dense subalgebra Ã0 of C0(P ) on which the Poisson bracket is defined, and a set of continuous cross-sections {Q(f )} f∈Ã0 for which Q0(f ) = f . Here Qh̄(f ∗) = Qh̄(f )∗ for all h̄ ∈ I , whereas for h̄ → 0 one requires t...
