We present Chandra point-source catalogs for the Extended Chandra Deep Field-South (E-CDF-S) survey. The E-CDF-S consists of four contiguous 250 ks Chandra observations covering an approximately square region of total solid angle ≈0.3 deg2, which flank the existing ≈1 Ms Chandra Deep Field-South (CDF-S). Results on diffraction obtained by the CDF Collaboration in Run I of the Fermilab Tevatron ¯ pp collider are reviewed. New results are reported on soft double diffrac-tion and diffractive J/ψ production. The CDF program for diffractive studies in Run II is briefly discussed.

Recent data from the CDF and D0 experiments at the Tevatron are presented on b quark production cross sections, J==, 0 and production cross sections. An analysis from CDF of the production polarization of the J==, 0 and (1S) is reviewed and the results discussed in the context of the color octet model.

Measurements of the inclusive jet cross section and the dijet angular distribution using data from the Tevatron are presented. Comparisons to NLO QCD show good agreement below 250 GeV, but CDF data show an excess at higher ET ; qualitative agreement is seen between the CDF and DØ cross sections. Analysis of the dijet angular distributions exclude quark compositeness below 2.1 TeV.
