We consider the dynamics of muons injected into the g-2 ring now under construction at FERMILAB. We present the concept for the pulsed injection kicker magnet that optimizes capture efficiency and minimizes coherent betatron oscillations of stored muons. Some engineering details of the high voltage kicker and pulser are presented.

The basic formulae for the damping of the energy and betatron oscillations are derived. The results are applied to a number of examples of different lattice designs in which radiation damping effects are important. Methods of modifying and measuring the damping rates are also discussed.

We present a status report on the investigation of the Möbius scheme for producing equal-emittance round beams at CESR [1]. For particles with small betatron amplitudes the beambeam interaction is like additional linear focusing which results in the beta function distortion. In this paper the observations of this so-called dynamic beta effect for various bunch lengths at the VEPP-2M collider are presented.
