This article explores ways in which practitioners can enable better access to a range of health and social care services for children and adults with autism and Asperger syndrome. Practical strategies to improve communication and reduce anxiety in patients with autism are discussed.

This study assessed the utility of a Social Story intervention to improve the lunchtime eating behaviors of an adolescent diagnosed with Asperger syndrome.
