The use of food additives (BTP) in the production process needs to be jointly monitored, both by producers and consumers. impact its can either positive or negative for community. This community service activity uses educational socialization method conducting counseling demonstrations on how make a dragon fruit peel formalin spray kit as simple way identify food. purpose this is find out wheth...
Serum samples from 697 Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) from North America were examined for antibodies to Toxoplasma gondii by the modified agglutination test incorporating mercaptoethanol and formalin-fixed tachyzoites. Antibodies to T. gondii were found in 25 of 697 (3.6%) sheep in titers of 1:25 (8 sheep), 1:50 (4 sheep), 1:100 (7 sheep), 1:200 (1 sheep), 1:400 (1 sheep), 1:80...
1. A rapid-reaction apparatus was used to measure the rate at which cells containing sickle-cell haemoglobin (HbS) undergo morphological changes as a result of very rapid deoxygenation. The events occurring under these circumstances were found to take place in two stages. 2. The first consisted of a very rapid gelation of the cellular haemoglobin producing bizarre-shaped erythrocytes. The rate ...
I n t r o d u c t i o n : S t r a t e g y , D e s i g n a n d B u i l d i n g s Design is increasingly recognized as critical in competitive business strategy. Peters (1995) uses the term ‘design mindfulness’ to convey the idea that design ought to work its way into every aspect of a company—tangible and intangible. Among European companies, the realization that product design processes could b...
Sera from 173 turkeys, 108 chickens, and 48 ducks from Giza, Egypt, were tested for the presence of anti-Toxoplasma gondii antibodies by means of the modified agglutination test using mercaptoethanol and formalin-fixed tachyzoites. The prevalence of anti-T. gondii antibodies (>1:25) among turkeys, chickens, and ducks was 59.5%, 47.2%, and 50%, respectively.
Human 0 erythrocytes, treated with 1% formalin and subsequently exposed simultaneously to hydatid protein antigen and 0.1% chromic chloride, acquire the property of agglutinating on a slide when brought in coontact with specific antiserum. This constitutes the basis of the slide haemagglutination test, an easy, quick, sensitive, and specific procedure, usefull in the diagnosis of hydatid disease.
The present study explored the interaction between histaminergic and opioidergic systems at the level of the hippocampus in modulation of orofacial pain by intra-hippocampal microinjections of histamine, pyrilamine (an antagonist of histamine H(1) receptors), ranitidine (an antagonist of histamine H(2) receptors), morphine (an opioid receptor agonist) and naloxone (an opioid receptor antagonist...
Previous ex vivo diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) studies on formalin-fixed myocardial tissue assumed that, after some initial changes in the first 48 hr since the start of fixation, DTI parameters remain stable over time. Prolonged preservation of cardiac tissue in formalin prior to imaging has been seen many times in the DTI literature as it is considered orderly. Our objective is to define the...
Introduction: Formalin injection induces nociceptive bahaviour in phase I and II, with a quiescent phase between them. While active inhibitory mechanisms are proposed to be responsible for initiation of interphase, the exact mechanisms which lead to termination of nociceptive response in phase II are not clear yet. Phase II is a consequence of peripheral and central sensitization processes, whi...
