Frobenius bimodules are connected with Frobenius algebras and extensions. For instance, a ring extension φ : R → S is a Frobenius extension if and only if RSS is a Frobenius bimodule [1]. Brzeziński and Gómez-Torrecillas studied in [4] certain properties of comatrix corings in relation to properties of bimodules. In particular they showed that the comatrix coring [6] induced by any Frobenius bi...
We prove that every quasi-complete intersection (q.c.i.) ideal is obtained from a pair of nested complete ideals by way flat base change. As by-product we establish rigidity statement for the minimal two-step Tate complex associated to an I in local ring R. Furthermore, define T each R; and result it. The exact if only q.c.i. ideal; this case, resolution R/I free R-modules.
In this paper, we consider the minimum Hamming weight for linear codes over special finite quasi-Frobenius rings. Furthermore, we obtain minimal free $R$-submodules of a finite quasi-Frobenius ring $R$ which contain a linear code and derive the relation between their minimum Hamming weights. Finally, we suggest an algorithm that computes this weight using the Grobner basis and we show that und...
Let $(R, m)$ be a commutative noetherian local ring and let $Gamma$ be a finite group. It is proved that if $R$ admits a dualizing module, then the group ring $Rga$ has a dualizing bimodule as well. Moreover, it is shown that a finitely generated $Rga$-module $M$ has generalized Gorenstein dimension zero if and only if it has generalized Gorenstein dimension zero as an $R$-module.
We describe and explain the fluxionality of B(13)(+). The chemical bonding analysis shows that the inner triangle of B(13)(+) is bound to the peripheral ring by delocalized bonds only, allowing a quasi-free rotation of the inner ring.
among structured peer-to-peer systems, chord has a general popularity due to its salient features like simplicity, high scalability, small path length with respect to network size, and flexibility on node join and departure. however, chord doesn’t take into account the topology of underlying physical network when a new node is being added to the system, thus resulting in high routing latency an...
In this article, we investigate composite media which present both a local resonance and a periodic structure. We numerically and experimentally consider the case of a very academic and simplified system that is a quasi-one dimensional split ring resonator medium. We modify its periodicity to shift the position of the Bragg bandgap relative to the local resonance one. We observe that for a well...
In this paper, an algebraic theory for local rings of finite embedding dimension is developed. Several extensions of (Krull) dimension are proposed, which are then used to generalize singularity notions from commutative algebra. Finally, variants of the homological theorems are shown to hold in equal characteristic. This theory is then applied to Noetherian local rings in order to get: (i) over...
Let k be an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0, and let A = k[x, y]/(f) be a quasi-homogeneous plane curve. We show that for any graded torsion free A-module M without free summands, there exists a natural graded integrable connection, i.e. a graded A-linear homomorphism ∇ : Derk(A) → Endk(M) that satisfy the derivation property and preserves the Lie product. In particular, a torsio...
We study the class of ADS rings and modules introduced by Fuchs [F]. We give some connections between this notion and classical notions such as injectivity and quasi-continuity. A simple ring R such that RR is ADS must be either right self-injective or indecomposable as a right Rmodule. Under certain conditions we can construct a unique ADS hull up to isomorphism. We introduce the concept of co...
