A novel controi method for positioning operations of deformable objects will be presented. In many manipulative operations of deformable objects, it is required to guide multiple points on an object simultaneously. Moreover, the points often cannot be manipulated directly. A model of the manipulated deformable object is essential to perform these operations. It is, however, dificult to build a ...
In recent years, there has been considerable interest in bilinear systems [1, 2, 3] as appropriate mathematical model to represent the dynamical behaviour for a wide class of the engineering, biological, and economic systems. Recently many studies of the bilinear systems have been done from various points of view, e.g. controllability or observability, and a lot of problems connected with the o...
In this paper, trajectory prediction and control design for a desired hit point of a projectile is studied. Projectiles are subject to environment noise such as wind effect and measurement noise. In addition, mathematical models of projectiles contain a large number of important states that should be taken into account for having a realistic prediction. Furthermore, dynamics of projectiles cont...
#465 Summary: The problem the economists in the field of renewable resources face is that of determining and recommending the harvest intensity that will maximize the economic value to the consuming society and also maximize the producers' surplus at a level of production in perpetuity. The optimal control theoretic approach was employed in this paper to theoretically answer this problem within...
We are interested in closed loop feedback control laws for supply chains. The mathematical modeling is based on Boltzmann–type equations. These equations allow to model a supply chain with priorities. The latter influence the processing time in a nonlinear way. For this class of models we derive a control law and we show numerical results.
N THIS PAPER WE PROPOSE a mathematical framework for the optimization of tuning systems. We begin with an informal definition of " tuning system. " We then propose five general constraints that seem common to their evolution. The central idea of this paper is the quan-tification of those constraints in terms of a set of numerical parameters. Given a choice of parameter values we use appropriate...
Repetitive processes are characterized by repeated executions of a task defined over a finite duration with resetting after each execution is complete. Also the output from any execution directly influences the output produced on the next execution. The repetitive process model structure arises in the modeling of physical processes and can also be used to effect in the control of other systems,...
in this paper, an integration of improve particle swarm optimization (ipso) incombination with successive quadratic programming (sqp) so called ipso-sqpalgorithm is proposed to solve time optimal bang-bang control problems. theprocedure is found not sensitive to the initial guess of the solution. due to randomselection in the first stage of the search process, the chance of converging to theglo...
abstract t he return of capital is fundamental to the intertemporal allocation of resources by changing the consumption behavior and capital accumulation over time. taxation on return of capital increases the marginal product of capital, meaning that capital stock is lower than when capital is not taxed, which results decreased growth and welfare in steady state. this paper studies the impact o...
