According to military documents, the incidence of ocular injuries significantly increases. Intraocular foreign body (IOFB) is one of the ocular damages that seriously threats vision. Many ocular injuries occurred in a war between Iran and Iraq from 1980 to 1988. The aim of the present study was to review ocular damages made by IOFB in this war, different methods of treatment and their prognosis.
