In this paper we propose a new self-stabilizing distributed algorithm for minimal domination protocol in an arbitrary network graph using the synchronous model; the proposed protocol is general in the sense that it can stabilize with every possible minimal dominating set of the graph.

Abstract There is evidence that high-frequency transcranial random noise stimulation (hf-tRNS) effective in improving behavioural performance several visual tasks. However, so far there has been limited research into the spatial and temporal characteristics of hf-tRNS-induced facilitatory effects. In present study, electroencephalogram (EEG) was used to investigate dynamics cortical activity mo...

background: gnrh agonist and antagonist were developed to control the premature release of lh surge. there is some difference between two protocols. objective: we compared the outcome of frozen-thawed embryo transfer in infertile women who used gnrh agonist or antagonist protocol for previous coh cycle and evaluation of any adverse effect of gnrh antagonist on oocyte and embryo. materials and m...

Aim: The present study was aimed at finding out the age specific best protocol for ovarian stimulation, particularly for advanced age group. Materials and Methods: This retrospective analysis was carried out from July 2005 to June 2009 in 617 cycles of In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) in different age group patients, performed at our centre. 617 patients having indications for female factor inferti...

In this paper, we propose a synchronous protocol without periodicity for scheduling multi-mode real-time systems upon identical multiprocessor platforms. Our proposal can be considered to be a multiprocessor extension of the uniprocessor protocol called “Minimal Single Offset protocol”.

BACKGROUND/AIM Residual or recurrent medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) after thyroidectomy is diagnosed by elevated serum calcitonin (CT) levels. However, in minimal residual MTC or C-cell hyperplasia (CCH), where imaging studies are often negative, basal CT levels are frequently normal and CT stimulation tests are required. We aimed to compare CT stimulation tests with calcium, pentagastrin an...

Background and purpose:The most experienced pain of burn injuries occur during dressing changes. This pain requires high doses of opioids. Some evidences suggest that changes in cortical irritability, cathodal somatosensory cortex stimulation, could be effective in relieving acute pain. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on qualit...

abstract introduction: interferential current is one of the most popular kinds of electrical stimulation that are used in electrotherapy. despite its clinical popularity, there have been limited studies to investigate how this stimulation protocol affects the nerve fibers. this study was aimed to develop a realistic model for the stimulation of nerve fibers by interferential currents and using ...

The aim was to compare ovarian response and clinical outcome of potential high-responders after stimulation with highly purified menotropin (HP-hMG) or recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (rFSH) for in vitro fertilisation/intracytoplasmic sperm injection. Retrospective analysis was performed on data collected in two randomized controlled trials, one conducted following a long GnRH agonist ...

OBJECTIVE To study the correlation between stimulation duration of IVF cycles, with and without GnRH agonist (GnRH-a), and cycle outcome. DESIGN Retrospective analysis of data. SETTING University-affiliated IVF clinic. PATIENT(S) 998 IVF cycles in which long GnRH-a protocol was used, and 155 cycles with hMG only. INTERVENTION(S) IVF cycles. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE(S) Cycle outcome in num...
