We show that the modified log-Sobolev constant for a natural Markov chain which converges to an $r$-homogeneous strongly log-concave distribution is at least $1/r$. Applications include sharp mixing time bound bases-exchange walk matroids, and concentration Lipschitz functions over these distributions.
Abstract A Kirchhoff-type problem with concave-convex nonlinearities is studied. By constrained variational methods on a Nehari manifold, we prove that this has sign-changing solution least energy. Moreover, show the energy level of strictly larger than double ground state solution.
We study mappings satisfying the so-called inverse Poletsky inequality. Under integrability of corresponding majorant, it is proved that these are logarithmic Hölder continuous in neighborhood boundary points. In particular, indicated properties hold for homeomorphisms whose satisfy weighted
in this study the wavelet neural network (wnn) and artificial neural network (ann) were used to simulate barley breakage percentage in combine harvester. the models have been trained using the same data conditions. air temperature, thresher cylinder speed, distance between thresher cylinder and concave (back and forth) and the percentage of barely moisture were as the input variables. the resul...

We solve the problem of finding optimal entire approximations of prescribed exponential type (unrestricted, majorant and minorant) for a class of truncated and odd functions with a shifted exponential subordination, minimizing the L1(R)-error. The class considered here includes new examples such as the truncated logarithm and truncated shifted power functions. This paper is the counterpart of t...
We present, under a weak majorant condition, a local convergence analysis for the Gauss-Newton method for injective-overdetermined systems of equations in a Hilbert space setting. Our results provide under the same information a larger radius of convergence and tighter error estimates on the distances involved than in earlier studies such us [10, 11, 13, 14, 18]. Special cases and numerical exa...
Kurdyka–?ojasiewicz (KL) exponent plays an important role in estimating the convergence rate of many contemporary first-order methods. In particular, a KL $$\frac{1}{2}$$ for suitable potential function is related to local linear convergence. Nevertheless, general extremely hard estimate. this paper, we show under mild assumptions that preserved via inf-projection. Inf-projection fundamental op...
