The paper presents a method to assure stability of the fuzzy control systems of the second order processes, based on a compensation of the input-output characteristic of the fuzzy blocks used in the PI fuzzy controllers. For this purpose is acting at the correction of the fuzzy control law by the action in parallel of a crisp block. Stability analysis of the control systems of the second order ...

The purpose of this paper is to point to the usefulness of applying a linear mathematical formulation of fuzzy multiple criteria objective decision methods in organising business activities. In this respect fuzzy parameters of linear programming are modelled by preference-based membership functions. This paper begins with an introduction and some related research followed by some fundamentals o...

Neutrosophic set is a new mathematical tool for handling problems involving imprecise, indeterminacy and inconsistent data. Pseudo-BCI algebra is a kind of non-classical logic algebra in close connection with various non-commutative fuzzy logics. Recently, we applied neutrosophic set theory to pseudo-BCI algebras. In this paper, we study neutrosophic filters in pseudo-BCI algebras. The concepts...

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a technique used to compare efficiency in various sectors such as hospitals, chain stores, and dealerships. it represents a set of linear programming techniques and uses deter-ministic data (inputs and outputs), in stable conditions. the dea technique cannot be used when there is data with indeterministic nature, or when there is an environment with dynamic co...

Defuzzification is the process of converting a fuzzy quantity to precise quantity, just as fuzzification is the conversion of a precise quantity to a fuzzy quantity. Various types of defuzzification methods, are available for conversion of fuzzy to non-fuzzy. In this paper, defuzzification functions in intuitionistic fuzzy environment such as triangular, trapezoidal, L-trapezoidal, R-trapezoida...

A fuzzy ideal on a set X is a non empty collection of subsets of X with heredity property which is also closed under arbitrary union and finite intersections. In this paper, we introduce a weak form of fuzzy ideals namely fuzzy pre-ideals and a way to obtain new fuzzy topologies is presented in this paper. Furthermore some interesting results for fuzzy ideals are generalized to fuzzy pre-ideal.

In this paper, we introduce a fuzzy extension of the Rand index, a well-known measure for comparing two clustering structures. In contrast to an existing proposal, which is restricted to the comparison of a fuzzy partition with a non-fuzzy reference partition, our extension is able to compare two proper fuzzy partitions with each other. Elaborating on the formal properties of our fuzzy Rand ind...

Several authors have proposed different methods to find the solution of fully fuzzy linear programming (FFLP) problems. But all the existing methods are based on the assumption that all the fuzzy coefficients and the fuzzy variables are non-negative fuzzy numbers. in this paper a new method is proposed to solve an FFLP problems with arbitrary fuzzy coefficients and arbitrary fuzzy variables, th...

This paper presents a new method for fuzzy system reliability analysis based on fuzzy semi-markov model with fuzzy transitions. The definition and the basic equation for interval transitions of a semi-markov model with fuzzy transitions are provided. The transitions for the above model with fuzzy states is provided for the non-homogeneous case. We apply this fuzzy technique to ATM transactions ...

Fuzzy rule-based systems are universal approximators of non-linear functions [1] as multilayer feedforward neural networks [2]. That is, they have a high approximation ability of non-linear functions. A large number of neural and genetic learning methods have been proposed since the early 1990s [3, 4] in order to fully utilize their approximation ability. Traditionally, fuzzy rule-based systems...
