In this paper we prove the weak and strong convergence of the implicit iterative process with errors to a common fixed point of a finite family {Tj}i=1 of asymptotically quasi Ij−nonexpansive mappings as well as a family of {Ij}j=1 of asymptotically quasi nonexpansive mappings in the framework of Banach spaces. The obtained results improve and generalize the corresponding results in the existin...

It is well-known that in finite strategic games true common belief (or common knowledge) of rationality implies that the players will choose only strategies that survive the iterated elimination of strictly dominated strategies. We establish a general theorem that deals with monotonic rationality notions and arbitrary strategic games and allows to strengthen the above result to arbitrary games,...

In this paper,we establish fixed points theorems in Banach space using Mann Iteration for nonexpansive and asymtotically nonexpansive mappings . Iteration scheme is defined by (2.1) and (2.2). We extended the work of Mann.

It is proved that Kuhfittig iteration process converges to a common fixed point of a finite family of quasi-nonexpansive maps on a Banach space. This result is extended to the random case. Our work improves upon several well-known results in the current literature.

In this paper, we establish some fixed point theorems in connection with sequences of operators in the Banach space setting for Mann and Ishikawa iterative processes. Our results extend some of the results of Berinde, Bonsall, Nadler and Rus from complete metric space to the Banach space setting.

After proving a multi-dimensional extension of Zalcman’s renormalization lemma and considering maximality problems about dimensions, we find renormalizing polynomial families for iterated elementary mappings, extending this result to some kinds of correspondences (by means of ’algebraic’ renormalizing families) and to the family of the iterated mappings of an automorphism of C2 admitting a repu...

We discuss techniques for accelerating the self-consistent field iteration for solving the Kohn–Sham equations. These techniques are all based on constructing approximations to the inverse of the Jacobian associated with a fixed point map satisfied by the total potential. They can be viewed as preconditioners for a fixed point iteration. We point out different requirements for constructing prec...

We use a fixed point method to prove the Cauchy–Rassias stability of homomorphisms associated to the Pexiderized Cauchy–Jensen type functional equation r f ( x+ y r ) + sg ( x− y s ) = 2h(x), r,s ∈ R\{0}
