in this paper, we propose a new definition of intuitionistic fuzzyquasi-metric and pseudo-metric spaces based on intuitionistic fuzzy points. weprove some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy quasi- metric and pseudo-metricspaces, and show that every intuitionistic fuzzy pseudo-metric space is intuitionisticfuzzy regular and intuitionistic fuzzy completely normal and henceintuitionistic fuzzy nor...

This chapter explores the philosophical notion of The Virtual in response to the writings of Gilles Deleuze and unfolds this thinking through its interdisciplinary and transformative effects upon contemporary fine art. The Virtual is discussed in relation to forms of contemporary painting, yet the chapter provides a model for thinking through interdisciplinarity within, and from, other media. T...

The international research network, Gender in the European Town, funded by the Danish Research council, has brought together new and established scholars from twelve countries to explore the place of gender in three interrelated areas that shaped the development of the earlymodern town: the economy, politics and civic identity, and real and imagined space. This workshop will draw upon the exten...

This article investigates stability for monster metric spaces introduced in [ShUs837] without the additional assumtion of the language L being countable. We prove that any monster metric space which is categorical in any cardinality bigger than |L| is 0-stable in |L| and unidimensional. In particular, the result holds for uncountable continuous theories.

Recent work has shown that diverse teams can outperform a uniform team made of copies of the best agent. However, there are fundamental questions that were never asked before. When should we use diverse or uniform teams? How does the performance change as the action space or the teams get larger? Hence, we present a new model of diversity, where we prove that the performance of a diverse team i...

Ancient Greek literature gives us many relevant traces of the way people represented maritime spaces. Greek narratives endow these spaces with meaning and make them legible. Indeed, these testimonies are a significant contribution to our knowledge of the “odological” space at sea, a space of description including numerous cultural features rather than a space described. This space is based on e...
