Performance evaluation and reliability prediction are two important factors in the study of multiprocessor and cluster interconnects. One such interconnect is the Scalable Coherent Interface (SCI). SCI is a point-to-point, ringbased interconnect that can be configured in various switched-ring topologies such as counter-rotating rings and tori. While performance analyses of SCI-based interconnec...

We give a homotopy theoretic characterization of sheaves on a stack and, more generally, a presheaf of groupoids on an arbitary small site C. We use this to prove homotopy invariance and generalized descent statements for categories of sheaves and quasi-coherent sheaves. As a corollary we obtain an alternate proof of a generalized change of rings theorem of Hovey.

Some considerations of long wavelength and broadband radiation sources based on the emission of the coherent radiation by a train of short relativistic electron bunches moving in an open resonator along an arc-like or undulator trajectories and some new versions of the transition radiation sources and long wavelength sources based on storage rings are presented. 2 Contents.

In electron-positron storage rings in which the orbits of the colliding beams cross at a substantial angle, a phase-dependent longitudinal force is exerted on the particles of each beam by the bunches of the other. The effects of this force on both incoherent and coherent longitudinal particle motion are investigated. These effects impose a limit on the number of particles which can be stored i...

We focus on two types of coherent states, the states multi-graviton and giant graviton in context gauge/gravity correspondence. conveniently use a phase shift operator its actions superpositions these states. find N-state Schrödinger cat which approach one-row Young tableau with fidelity between them asymptotically reaching 1 at large N. The quantum Fisher information is proportional to varianc...

let $r$ be an associative ring with identity and $z^*(r)$ be its set of non-zero zero divisors.  the zero-divisor graph of $r$, denoted by $gamma(r)$, is the graph whose vertices are the non-zero  zero-divisors of  $r$, and two distinct vertices $r$ and $s$ are adjacent if and only if $rs=0$ or $sr=0$.  in this paper, we bring some results about undirected zero-divisor graph of a monoid ring ov...

The use of dye-doped liquid crystals allows the amplification coupling light and crystals. Light can induce self-organization molecular order. appearance ring patterns has been observed, which associated with phase modulation. However, morphology dynamics are not consistent self-modulation. Based on an experimental setup two parallel coherence beams orthogonal to a crystal cell, one induces pho...
