FROM/BCS is a promising product line engineering method which has the advantage of integrating variability in software development diagrams or models and to explicitly give variants of variation points. This approach has been proposed to allow transposition of industrial chain production to software world. However, to come closer to the real reduction of cost and risk and taking into considerat...

Spontaneous excavation of primary lung cancer is common; however cavitation of metastatic lung lesions is rare and usually confused with benign lesions. In Moroccan context tuberculosis is the first suspected diagnosis of lung excavations. We report a rare case of cavitary lung metastasis of a uterine cervix cancer, treated initially as tuberculosis. A 40-year old non-smoking woman with a known...

BACKGROUND Regorafenib induces distinct radiological changes that represent its anti-angiogenic effect. However, clinical implication of the changes is unclear. METHODS Tumor attenuation as measured by Hounsfield units (HU) in contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) and cavitary changes of lung metastases were analyzed in association with treatment outcome of metastatic colorectal cancer p...

Introduction: Mycobacterium xenopi (M. xenopi) has low pathogenicity and usually requires either host immune impairment or structural lung disease to cause clinical disease. Fatal cavitary infection in a patient without immunosuppression is rarely presented. Case report: A 62-year-old female with history of sarcoidosis and hypertension presented with cough, fever and dyspnea for one week. Chest...

Pulmonary cavitation is rather uncommon in patients with sarcoidosis, and aspergilloma is even more uncommon in such cases. Here, we present the case of a 63-year-old female patient with cavitary lung disease who had been under treatment for TB for 9 months. A diagnosis of pulmonary sarcoidosis was established based on the fiberoptic bronchoscopy finding of noncaseating granuloma. Treatment wit...

Tularemia is a worldwide zoonosis caused by Francisella tularensis. The most frequent forms of tularemia are ulceroglandular, followed by typhoidal forms, glandular, and oculoglandular. Respiratory involvement is an uncommon presentation. Cutaneous lesions secondary to respiratory infections occur in 30% of cases. We present a case of tularemia with cavitary pneumonia and skin lesions.

Background and purpose: Gutta-percha is generally accepted as the main canal filler. Standard gutta-percha cones are available in 2-10% tapers. The purpose of this study was to compare apical microleakage of canals obturated with different tapers of gutta-percha, using the protein penetration technique. Materials and methods: In this study, 96 maxillary anterior teeth were selected and were pr...
