In this work, we prove some new oscillation theorems for second-order neutral delay differential equations of the form (a(ξ)((v(ξ)+b(ξ)v(ϑ(ξ)))′))′+c(ξ)G1(v(κ(ξ)))+d(ξ)G2(v(ς(ξ)))=0 under canonical and non-canonical operators, that is, ∫ξ0∞dξa(ξ)=∞ ∫ξ0∞dξa(ξ)<∞. We use Riccati transformation to our main results. Furthermore, examples are provided show effectiveness feasibility

The contragredient transformation A 7→ PAP, B 7→ PBP of two matrices A,B effects simultaneous similarity transformations of the products AB and BA. This work provides structured canonical forms under this transformation for symmetric or skew-symmetric A,B. As an application, these forms are used to study the quadratic matrix equation XAX = B, where both A,B are skew-symmetric or symmetric matri...

A theory of non-unitary-invertible as well as unitary canonical transformations is formulated in the context of Weyl's phase space representations. Exact solutions of the transformation kernels and the phase space propagators are given for the three fundamental canonical maps as linear, gauge and contact (point) transformations. Under the nonlinear maps a phase space representation is mapped to...

We present a general theoretical framework for a hybrid system that is composed of a quantum subsystem and a classical subsystem. We approach such a system with a simple canonical transformation which is particularly effective when the quantum subsystem is dynamically much faster than the classical counterpart, which is commonly the case in hybrid systems. Moreover, this canonical transformatio...

This paper introduces a design technique for coarse-grained reconfigurable architectures targeting digital signal processing (DSP) applications. The design procedure is analyzed in detail and an areatime-power efficient reconfigurable kernel architecture is presented. The proposed technique inlines flexibility into custom carry-save (CS) arithmetic datapaths exploiting a stable and canonical in...

In these lectures a general introduction to T-duality is given. In the abelian case the approaches of Buscher, and Roc̆ek and Verlinde are reviewed. Buscher’s prescription for the dilaton transformation is recovered from a careful definition of the gauge integration measure. It is also shown how duality can be understood as a quite simple canonical transformation. Some aspects of non-abelian dua...

Exact solutions of the Schrödinger equation are obtained for the Rosen-Morse and Scarf potentials with the position-dependent effective mass by appliying a general point canonical transformation. The general form of the point canonical transformation is introduced by using a free parameter. Two different forms of mass distributions are used. A set of the energy eigenvalues of the bound states a...

The Hamiltonian (gauge) symmetry generators of non-local (gauge) theories are presented. The construction is based on the d + 1 dimensional space-time formulation of d dimensional non-local theories. The procedure is applied to U(1) space-time non-commutative gauge theory. In the Hamiltonian formalism the Hamiltonian and the gauge generator are constructed. The nilpotent BRST charge is also obt...
