Mathematical fuzzy logic (or fuzzy logic in a narrow sense) is a many-valued symbolic logic with a comparative notion of truth. The present state of development of t-norm based fuzzy propositional and predicate logic will be surveyed and some recent results will be described (on witnessed models and others).

We characterize T-measures on weakly generated tribes, where T is a strict triangular norm and we give a Liapunoff Theorem for these measures. This generalizes previous results obtained for monotonic T-measures or for Frank triangular norms.

Propositional fuzzy logics given by a combination of a continuous SBL t-norm with finitely many idempotents and of an involutive negation are investigated. A characterization of continuous t-norms which, in combination with different involutive negations, yield either isomorphic algebras or algebras with distinct and incomparable sets of propositional tautologies is presented.

It is an open question whether a non-trivial convex combination of triangular norms (resp. conorms) can be a triangular norm (resp. conorm). We investigate the analogous question for S-implications and R-implications.
