In this paper we introduce the concept of generalized weakly contractiveness for a pair of multivalued mappings in a metric space. We then prove the existence of a common fixed point for such mappings in a complete metric space. Our result generalizes the corresponding results for single valued mappings proved by Zhang and Song [14], as well as those proved by D. Doric [4].

A modular mapping consists of a linear transformation followed by modulo operations. It is characterized by a transformation matrix and a vector of moduli, called the modulus vector. Modular mappings are useful to derive parallel versions of algorithms with commutative operations and algorithms intended for execution on processor arrays with toroidal networks. In order to preserve algorithm cor...

With pondered task assignment methods which utilize the dynamic state of the grid resources to solve task-to-processor mappings, an important problem arises from the difficulty of collecting the information from the remote nodes. In this paper we show that with the use of the force field method for task assignment, the information collection is not a problem and the method outperforms random no...

The heterogeneity of ontologies on the web of data is a crucial problem. This paper presents an application called SPARQLoid that uses a query rewriting method to enable users to query any SPARQL endpoint with the user’s own ontology, even when their ontology mappings are not reliable enough. Often ontology matching methods produce mappings with their reliability degree. Based on the given reli...

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new hybrid projection method based on modified Mann iterative scheme by the generalized f-projection operator for a countable family of relatively quasi-nonexpansive mappings and the solutions of the system of generalized mixed equilibrium problems. Furthermore, we prove the strong convergence theorem for a countable family of relatively quasi-nonexpa...

The authors have obtained the following results: 1 the definition of uniformly closed countable family of nonlinear mappings, 2 strong convergence theorem by the monotone hybrid algorithm for two countable families of hemirelatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space with new method of proof, 3 two examples of uniformly closed countable families of nonlinear mappings and applications, 4 an...

In this study, we introduce the classes of $phi$-strongly pseudocontractive mappings in the intermediate sense and generalized $Phi$-pseudocontractive mappings in the intermediate sense and prove the existence of fixed points for those maps. The results generalise the results of several authors in literature including Xiang [Chang He Xiang, Fixed point theorem for generalized $Phi$-pseudocontra...

Neural networks expanded to complex domains have recently been studied in the field of computational intelligence. Complex-valued neural networks are effective for learning the relationships between complex inputs and outputs, and applications to complex analysis and complex image processing have been studied (Hirose, 2006). In addition, the effectiveness of the computational complexity and the...

We use a hybrid iterative method to find a common element of the set of fixed points of an infinite family of Lipschitzian quasi-nonexpansive mappings, the set of solutions of the general system of the variational inequality and the set of solutions of the generalized mixed equilibrium problem in real Hilbert spaces. We also show that our main strong convergence theorem for finding that common ...
