Based on the review of 115 literature items, article presents biopolymers as renewable polymer materials for sustainable development. The types and their applications are discussed, including based starch, cellulose, bacteria, soy natural polyester. It also describes issues biocompatibility, principles chemistry development, well market trends future application directions.
