For longer distances, natural gas is transported through transit pipeline at high pressures. In a place of consumption or at passing into a lower pressure pipeline, the pressure of the gas must be reduced. In Iran, the common procedure of reducing pressure in natural gas station is using expansion valves, which causes the waste of large amount of energy. Combined heat and power (CHP) systems ha...

â understanding the flow behaviour in a gas well is crucial for future production strategies, obtaining bottomhole conditions from wellhead production data, analyzing production data and estimating reservoir properties. in this work, the pressure profile and flow regime are studied on four wells of a multi-well, multi-layer gas-condensate reservoir, producing at high rate. the wells are deviate...

The aim of this work is to use the pseudo gradient search to solve classification problems. In most classifiers, the goal is to reduce the misclassified rate that is discrete. Since pseudo gradient search is a local search, to use it for classification problem, objective function has to be real valued. A penalty technique is used for this purpose.

A pseudo-Boolean function (pBf) is a mapping from f0; 1gn to the real numbers. It is known that pseudo-Boolean functions have polynomial representations, and it was recently shown that they also have disjunctive normal forms (DNFs). In this paper we relate the DNF syntax of the classes of monotone, quadratic and Horn pBfs to their characteristic inequalities.

The presence of Cs+ ions in the pseudo-1D nanopores of zeolite ITQ-4, Si32O64, is confirmed by x-ray diffraction and atomic pair distribution function analysis. Inside the nanopores the Cs+ ions are found to assemble in zigzag chains and thus form an extended, positively charged sublattice providing charge balance for a low-density electron gas also confined to the nanopores.

atmospheric pressure plasma (app) is an emerging non thermal technology for the improvement of food  safety. non-thermal plasma (ntp) is a neutral ionized gas that comprises highly reactive spices including, positive ions, negative ions, free radicals, electrons, excited or non excited molecules and photons at or near room temperature. ntp can be generated at atmospheric pressure that makes it ...

Bulges are of different types, morphologies and kinematics, from pseudo-bulges, close to disk properties (Sersic index, rotation fraction, flatenning), to classical de Vaucouleurs bulges, close to elliptical galaxies. Secular evolution and bar development can give rise to pseudo-bulges. To ensure prolonged secular evolution, gas flows are required along the galaxy life-time. There is growing ev...

We present a speciic method and its software implementation to determine the refractive index (n) of various gases, analysing the interferometric data of a pressure tunable Fabry-Perot interferometer from visible to VUV region. The principal idea of this method is to apply the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) on the data of the light intensity as a function of the gas pressure, in order to dete...

The probably approximately correct (PAC) model of learning and its extension to real-valued function classes sets a rigorous framework based upon which the complexity of learning a target from a function class using a finite sample can be computed. There is one main restriction, however, that the function class have a finite VC-dimension or scale-sensitive pseudo-dimension. In this paper we pre...
