In this paper, a useful classification of all Lie subalgebras of a given Lie algebraup to an inner automorphism is presented. This method can be regarded as animportant connection between differential geometry and algebra and has many applications in different fields of mathematics. After main results, we have applied this procedure for classifying the Lie subalgebras of some examples of Lie al...

Let $R$ be a 2-torsion free ring and $U$ be a square closed Lie ideal of $R$. Suppose that $alpha, beta$ are automorphisms of $R$. An additive mapping $delta: R longrightarrow R$ is said to be a Jordan left $(alpha,beta)$-derivation of $R$ if $delta(x^2)=alpha(x)delta(x)+beta(x)delta(x)$ holds for all $xin R$. In this paper it is established that if $R$ admits an additive mapping $G : Rlongrigh...

A unital $C^*$ -- algebra $mathcal A,$ endowed withthe Lie product $[x,y]=xy- yx$ on $mathcal A,$ is called a Lie$C^*$ -- algebra. Let $mathcal A$ be a Lie $C^*$ -- algebra and$g,h:mathcal A to mathcal A$ be $Bbb C$ -- linear mappings. A$Bbb C$ -- linear mapping $f:mathcal A to mathcal A$ is calleda Lie $(g,h)$ -- double derivation if$f([a,b])=[f(a),b]+[a,f(b)]+[g(a),h(b)]+[h(a),g(b)]$ for all ...

Let $R$ be a prime ring with its Utumi ring of quotients $U$,  $C=Z(U)$ the extended centroid of $R$, $L$ a non-central Lie ideal of $R$ and $0neq a in R$. If $R$ admits a generalized derivation $F$ such that $a(F(u^2)pm F(u)^{2})=0$ for all $u in L$, then one of the following holds: begin{enumerate} item there exists $b in U$ such that $F(x)=bx$ for all $x in R$, with $ab=0$; item $F(x)=...

Let R be a prime ring, H a generalized derivation of R and L a noncommutative Lie ideal of R. Suppose that usH(u)ut = 0 for all u ∈ L, where s ≥ 0, t ≥ 0 are fixed integers. Then H(x) = 0 for all x ∈ R unless char R = 2 and R satisfies S4, the standard identity in four variables. Let R be an associative ring with center Z(R). For x, y ∈ R, the commutator xy− yx will be denoted by [x, y]. An add...

The aim of this article is to compute the Hochschild and cyclic homology groups of the Yang-Mills algebras YM(n) (n ∈ N≥2) defined by A. Connes and M. Dubois-Violette in [CD1], continuing thus the study of these algebras that we have initiated in [HS]. The computation involves the use of a spectral sequence associated to the natural filtration on the universal enveloping algebra YM(n) provided ...

This paper provides a precise sense in which the time t map for the Euler equations of an ideal fluid in a region in Rn (or a smooth compact n-manifold with boundary) is a Poisson map relative to the Lie-Poisson bracket associated with the group of volume preserving diffeomorphism group. This is interesting and nontrivial because in Eulerian representation, the time t maps need not be C from th...

We investigate the properties of Lie algebras of characteristic p which satisfy the Engel identity xy" = 0 for some n < p. We establish a criterion which (when satisfied) implies that if a and b are elements of an Engel-n Lie algebra L then abn~2 generates a nilpotent ideal of I. We show that this criterion is satisfied for n = 6, p = 1, and we deduce that if G is a finite m-generator group of ...

let $mathfrak{l}$ be the virasoro-like algebra and $mathfrak{g}$ itsderived algebra, respectively. we investigate the structure of the lie triplederivation algebra of $mathfrak{l}$ and $mathfrak{g}$. we provethat they are both isomorphic to $mathfrak{l}$, which provides twoexamples of invariance under triple derivation.

in this paper, by using of frobenius theorem a relation between lie subalgebras of the lie algebra of a top space t and lie subgroups of t(as a lie group) is determined. as a result we can consider these spaces by their lie algebras. we show that a top space with the finite number of identity elements is a c^{∞} principal fiber bundle, by this method we can characterize top spaces.
