We argue that the experimentally measured color transparency ratio is directly related to the interacting hadron wave function at small transverse separation, b < 1/Q. We show that the present experimental data is consistent with pure scaling behavior of the hadron-hadron and lepton-hadron scattering inside the nuclear medium. Prototypes of 13 kA HTS current leads for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have been specified by CERN and produced by several manufacturers. The specification defines the required thermo-electric performance and the geometric limitations imposed by the LHC infrastructure. A report is given of the results obtained from extensive tests on these leads.

The experimental and phenomenological status of high energy photoproduction is reviewed. Topics covered include the structure of the photon, production of jets, heavy flavours and prompt photons, rapidity gaps, energy flow and underlying events. The results are placed in the context of the current understanding of QCD, with particular application to present and future hadron and lepton colliders.

We investigate the origin of intermittency for multiparticle distribution in momentum space, following the idea that there is a kind of power law distribution of the space-time region of hadron emission. Using the formalism of current ensam-ble model to describe boson sources we discuss intermittency exponents for the coherent and incoherent (chaotic) particle production scheme.
