For the investigations of thermally activated magnetization reversal in systems of classical magnetic moments numerical methods are desirable. We present numerical studies which base on time quanti"ed Monte Carlo methods where the long-range dipole}dipole interaction is calculated with the aid of fast Fourier transformation. As an example, we study models for ferromagnetic nanowires comparing o...

We introduce new subclasses of Fourier hyperfunctions of mixed type, satisfying polynomial growth conditions at infinity, and develop their sheaf and duality theory. We use Fourier transformation and duality to examine relations of these asymptotic and tempered hyperfunctions to known classes of test functions and distributions, especially the Gel’fand-Shilov spaces. Further it is shown that th...

We discuss Levin-type sequence transformations {sn} → {sn} that depend linearly on the sequence elements sn, and nonlinearly on an auxiliary sequence of remainder estimates {ωn}. If the remainder estimates also depend on the sequence elements, non-linear transformations are obtained. The application of such transformations very often yields new sequences that are more rapidly convergent in the ...

In this paper, we establish a new theorem on | A, pn |k summability factors of Fourier series using matrix transformation, which generalizes a main theorem of Bor [6] on ∣∣N̄, pn∣∣k summability factors of Fourier series. Also some new results have been obtained.

We report experimental implementation of discrete Fourier transformation(DFT) on a nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) quantum computer. Experimental results agree with theoretical results. Using the pulse sequences we introduced, DFT can be realized on any L-bit quantum number in principle. 1.1 Duality is a frequently occurring principle for understanding a mathematical structure. The Fourier transformation is a classical example which leads to the Pontryagin duality of topological abelian groups. A more geometric example is the Fourier-Mukai ∗Mathematisches Institut, Universität Göttingen, Bunsenstr. 3-5, 37073 Göttingen, GERMANY, [email protected], [email protected] s...

this thesis deals essentially (but not from all aspects) with the extension of the notion of semigroup compactification and the construction of a general theory of semitopological nonaffine (affine) transformation semigroup compactifications. it determines those compactification which are universal with respect to some algebric or topological properties. as an application of the theory, it is i...

The paper presents a registration algorithm based on the Analytical Fourier-Mellin Transform (AFMT). In the Fourier Mellin registration algorithm, the estimation of the geometrical transformation is only done in the Fourier Transform phase domain which is known by containing the shape information. The proposed algorithm will be used to estimate homography since in the vicinity of key points, we...

There exists a fractional Fourier-transform relation between the amplitude distributions of light on two spherical surfaces of given radii and separation. The propagation of light can be viewed as a process of continual fractional Fourier transformation. As light propagates, its amplitude distribution evolves through fractional transforms of increasing order. This result allows us to pose the f...
