In the title salt, (C(7)H(11)N(2))[SnCl(4)(C(10)H(6)NO(2))], the Sn(IV) atom is chelated by the N,O-bidentate carboxyl-ate ions and four chloride ions, showing a distorted octa-hedral SnNOCl(4) coordination. In the crystal, the cation and anion are linked by a pyridinium-carboxyl-ate N-H⋯O hydrogen bond.

The title compound, C(6)H(10)N(2) (2+)·2Cl(-), contains a network of 4-(ammonio-meth-yl)pyridinium cations and chloride anions which are inter-connected by N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. The crystal packing is also influenced by inter-molecular π-π stacking inter-actions between identical anti-parallel organic cations with a face-to-face distance of ca 3.52 Å.

The title compound, 2C(7)H(6)NO(4) (+)·2Cl(-)·C(3)H(6)O, crystallizes with two 2,6-dicarboxy-pyridinium cations, two chloride anions and one acetone mol-ecule in the asymmetric unit. The crystal structure is characterized by alternating cations and by Cl(-) anions, forming zigzag chains running along the a axis.
