Level crossing is a powerful method for analyzing the random time series. In this paper by introducing this method we investigate the beta noises and represent differences between 1/f noise and white noise and also research the cardiac heart interbeat interval (RR) time series and find clear distinctions between healthy samples and samples with Congestive heart failure (CHF) disease.

For many critical cardiac conditions such as cardiomyopathy, congenital heart defects, or arrhythmogenic disorders, cardiac transplantation is often an accepted treatment with optimistic oneand five-year survival rates of 90% and 75% in the pediatric patient population, respectively. Introduction: Insome cases, assist devices are required to ensure an adequate cardiac output after cardiac surgery. Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) is the most commonly used cardiac assist device, which provides first-line support for patients with heart failure. The aim of this study was to determine factors affecting the mortality rate of patients receiving IABP. Materials & Methods:  In thi...

long-term mechanical circulatory support is a life-saving technology while briding to heart transplantation. it increases the quality of life and preserves end-organ function for patients with  advanced heart failure. the number of patients with advanced heart failure scheduled for heart transplantation before comorbidities escalate is on the rise. however, the device function is complicated by...

The 4-ACGC isolated from BP was prepared to investigate the cardioprotective effects on attenuating chronic heart failure in vivo and in vitro. A chronic heart failure (CHF) rat model was established to investigate the cardioprotective effects of 4-ACGC. From this, several cardiac function indexes were recorded. The inflammatory markers including tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), Interleukin-6 (...

Introduction: After being discharged, patients with heart failure, are exposed to the problems of disease management in the family and community, and follow-up interventions after discharging can play a significant supportive role in promoting a sense of worth in them. CONTEXT Progressive heart failure is the most common mechanism of death among patients with advanced heart failure. Cardiac resynchronization, a pacemaker-based therapy for heart failure, enhances cardiac performance and quality of life, but its effect on mortality is uncertain. OBJECTIVE To determine whether cardiac resynchronization reduces mortality from progressive heart failure. DATA S...
