Bleaching teeth with 10% carbamide peroxide in a custom-fitted tray has been popular for more than 10 years. However, primary teeth are seldom considered for bleaching due to the need for compliance by the child and the natural whiteness of the primary teeth. This report describes an indication-teeth darkened from trauma-as well as the technique and outcome for bleaching discolored primary teeth.
The advantages of using encapsulated organo-mineral fertilizers are presented. It is proposed to use a fluidized bed apparatus for coating carbamide granules with an organic shell. Importance the hydraulic characteristics and their influence on energy costs process emphasized. Experimental study results prove that irrigation density granular layer suspension has significant resistance bed. anal...
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this 14-day parallel, double blind clinical trial was to evaluate the tooth whitening efficacy of a 9% hydrogen peroxide gel (Colgate Visible White) relative to a 20% carbamide peroxide gel (Opalescence) positive control. METHODS Forty-six consenting adults were randomly assigned to use one of the two products. All participants had 6 unrestored maxillary anterior teet...
objective: the present in vitro study was undertaken to compare the effects of hydrogel and solution forms of sodium ascorbate on microleakage of composite restorations subsequent to a non-vital bleaching procedure with 10% carbamide peroxide. materials and methods: forty-eight sound extracted human maxillary incisors were obtained. following root canal therapy, the teeth were randomly divided ...
In the title compound, C20H26N2S, the N-containing six-membered ring adopts a boat conformation and the dihedral angle between the thio-carbamide group and the benzene ring is 49.67 (9)°. An intra-molecular C-H⋯S hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring motif. The N-H group is sterically hindered and there are no significant inter-molecular inter-actions beyond van der Waals contacts.
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of home-use bleaching agents containing 10% carbamide peroxide and 7.5% hydrogen peroxide on enamel microhardness and surface micromorphology. MATERIAL AND METHODS Enamel slabs (n=10) received the bleaching agents for 1 h/day and remained in artificial saliva solution for 23 h/day, during a total period of 21 days. Control group was...
