This paper presents a method for analysis of automated highway throughput for AHS designs, including those with platooning. Simulation results are presented which show that increased information leads to higher throughput, and that a platooning design will have higher throughput than any individual vehicle design.
In this paper, we establish a basic dimension theory for rigid subanalytic sets, and we prove a Smooth Stratiication Theorem for such sets, in all characteristics.
THE PROBLEM: MOTORCAR MORALITY AND AUTOMOBILE AGEING Advances in modern technology mean that cars are living longer than ever before. This raises important end-of-road-life issues, as it becomes increasingly difficult to provide leaded fuel and shelter for our hydraulically challenged, ageing automobile population. The garage is full, and off-street parking is beyond the financial scope of most...
We show that a large class of non–metric, non–symplectic affine holonomies can be realized, uniformly and without case by case considerations, by Weyl connections associated to the natural AHS–structures on certain generalized flag manifolds.
The use of a mass balance equation assists in clarifying the contribution of automotive-emitted lead to the regional and global problems of the distribution of this element, by taking into account the physicochemical transformation processes operating on the lead during its transport along the various environmental pathways. The technical factors which govern the emission of such lead from auto...
this thesis is a study on insurance fraud in iran automobile insurance industry and explores the usage of expert linkage between un-supervised clustering and analytical hierarchy process(ahp), and renders the findings from applying these algorithms for automobile insurance claim fraud detection. the expert linkage determination objective function plan provides us with a way to determine whi...
With gasoline at a record $2.50 a gallon in the United States, and with the passage of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, now is a good time to see where the United States has been and where it might be heading in the near future, in regard to automobiles and government policies to regulate their efficiency. In this paper, I will first look at the recent history of American energy policy as applied...
BACKGROUND Occupational and environmental exposures mostly represent mixtures of genotoxic agents, whereas the specificity of biomarker measurements varies widely. Exploration of correlations among biomarkers contributes to the further progress of molecular cancer epidemiology and to the selection of the optimal biomarkers for the investigation of human exposure to carcinogens. The aim of this ...
Automobile crashes are the leading cause of death for those aged 3 to 33, with 43,005 (118 per day) Americans killed in 2002 alone. Seat belt use reduces the risk of serious injury in an accident, and refraining from using a cell phone while driving reduces the risk of an accident. Cell phone use while driving increases accident rates, and leads to 2,600 U.S. fatalities each year. An active pro...
Due to rapid globalization, an introduction of Goods and Services Taxes (GST), ban on BS-III vehicles, technological advancement creates new dimensions for the automobile industry in India especially those who come category small medium enterprise (SMEs).In current changing scenario victorious execution supply chain management (SCM) practices can provide competitive leverage Automobile manufact...
