The DØ Collaboration presents a study of the dijet invariant mass spectrum, M j j , in events with two jets produced in association with a W → ℓν boson. The goal is to verify a claim from the CDF Collaboration about the possible existance of an anomalous dijet resonance at M j j ≈ 145 GeV. Thus, we investigate the 110 GeV < M j j < 170 GeV mass range and report our results.
EXECUTIVE OVERVIEW 170 million smartphones shipped globally since 2008. Web 2.0 social network developers contribute over 300 applications per day. Over 1 billion downloads and almost 40,000 applications created in the first nine months of the Apple App Store. The Web, communications, and entertainment worlds are converging from multiple dimensions-whether from the device, service, or applicati...

Amos II (Active Mediator Object System) is a distributed mediator system that uses a functional data model and has a relationally complete functional query language, AmosQL. Through its distributed multi-database facilities many distributed Amos II peers can interoperate. Functional multi-database queries and views can be defined where external data sources of different kinds are translated thr...
Known parallel DBMS offer at present only static partitioning schemes. Adding a storage node is then a cumbersome operation that typically requires the manual data redistribution. We present an architecture termed AMOS-SDDS for a share-nothing multicomputer. We have coupled a high-performance main-memory DBMS AMOS-II and a manager of Scalable Distributed Data Structures (SDDS) into a scalable d...
Amos II (Active Mediator Object System) is a distributed mediator system that uses a functional data model and has a relationally complete functional query language, AmosQL. Through its distributed multi-database facilities many autonomous and distributed Amos II peers can interoperate. Functional multi-database queries and views can be defined where external data sources of different kinds are...
