In the title compound, C(14)H(10)N(2)O(4)S(2),the furoxan heterocyclic ring and the two S atoms are almost co-planar, with a mean deviation of 0.036 Å. Some of the tested compounds were active against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Bacillus subtilis, Clostridium difficile, Aspergillus niger and Cryptococcus neoformans.
