In this note we prove the conjecture of Wilfong, Haxell and Winkler (2001) that every bipartite multigraph with integer edge delays admits an edge colouring with d + 1 colours in the special case where d = 3. A connection to the Brualdi-RyserStein conjecture is discussed.

We prove an upper bound on the meeting time of an arbitrary number of random walks in any connected undirected graph in terms of the meeting times of fewer random walks. We show that the bound is tight for rings, and that it is both stronger and more general than a bound suggested by Tetali and Winkler [4].

Sedlacekvia kinchegaensis sp. nov., a new member of the hitherto monotypic genus Sedlacekvia Winkler, 1989 is described from an arid region of New South Wales, Australia.
