Delayed rupture of post-traumatic pseudoaneurysms of the visceral arteries, especially the pancreaticoduodenal artery, is uncommon. Here, we describe a 55-year-old man hemorrhaging from a pseudoaneurysm of the inferior pancreaticoduodenal artery (IPDA). Computed tomography of the abdomen showed active bleeding in the IPDA and large amounts of hemoperitoneum and hemoretroperitoneum. Selective me...

Our patient suffered a perineal straddle injury, resulting in right cavernosal artery pseudoaneurysm in combination with a cavernosal-urethral fistula. The urethra failed to heal after several weeks, and the patient presented with severe intermittent urethral bleeding. The pseudoaneurysm was successfully treated by coil embolization, with resolution of the bleeding. The patient recovered comple...

The occurrence of intracranial traumatic pseudoaneurysm (TPA) in the posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) is extremely rare. Management is challenging as it bears a high mortality. We encountered a case of PICA-TPA which was initially misdiagnosed as aneurysm pre-surgically. A 44-years old woman presented with sudden onset of change in mental status, headache and vomiting for 3 hours. Sh...

BACKGROUND Traumatic intracranial pseudoaneurysms in children are typically the result of blunt or penetrating head injury. There are isolated reports of pseudoaneurysm as the result of intracranial aneurysm surgery in both adults and children. Treatment of these lesions, both surgically and endovascularly, can be complicated due to the known variability of arterial wall thickness in traumatic ...

We describe a case of traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the middle meningeal artery in a patient after a head trauma. The aneurysm was found incidentally and resolved spontaneously without any intervention; this outcome suggests that middle meningeal artery aneurysm may not require treatment in all cases and can be followed conservatively with follow-up conventional angiography.
