In this study, we demonstrate solution-processed memristor devices using a CdSe/ZnS colloidal quantum dot (CQD)/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) composite and their electrical characteristics were investigated. Particularly, to obtain stable memristive with large current switching ratio, the concentration of QDs in PMMA matrix was optimized. It found that QD 1 wt%, device exhibited high ratio ~...

Hot-carrier effects in body-tied FinFETs are investigated for the first time. Device degradation by hotcarrier injection (HCI) becomes significant as a fin width (channel thickness) increases. There are two competing conditions to degrade the device by HCI: VG (<0.5VDD) at ISUBmax and VG=VD=VDD. Interface trap generation is dominant at VG at ISUBmax and oxide trap are dominant at VG=VD=VDD. At ...

The paper reviews recent experimental results from GOL-3. Currently efforts are focused on further development of a physical database for multiple-mirror confinement systems and also on an upgrade of plasma heating systems of GOL-3 device. In general, current GOL-3 parameters demonstrate good prospects of a multiple-mirror trap as a fusion reactor.

Here we present the design, fabrication and operation of a microfluidic device to trap droplets in a large array of droplet pairs in a controlled manner with the aim of studying the transport of small molecules across the resultant surfactant bilayers formed between the droplet pairs.

We present a novel design of micron-sized particle trap that uses negative dielectrophoresis (nDEP) to trap cells in high conductivity physiological media. The design is scalable and suitable for trapping large numbers of single cells. Each trap has one electrical connection and the design can be extended to produce a large array. The trap consists of a metal ring electrode and a surrounding gr...

In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of eleven commercial models of propane combustion traps for catching male and female Phlebotomus papatasi. The traps differed in physical appearance, amount of carbon dioxide produced and released, type and location of capturing device, and the method by which the trap suction fans were powered. The traps tested were the Mosquito MagnetTM(MM)-Pro, MM-Lib...

Steady-state recombination-generation-trapping of holes and electrons at one-electron neutral traps (charge states 0 and −1) located at the SiO2/Si interface is employed to investigate the effects of high concentration of interface traps on the recombination dc base-terminal current vs gate-voltage (R-DCIV or IB-VGB) and gate capacitance vs gate-voltage (CV or Cgb-VGB) properties of inversion n...

The electron trapping in AlGaN/GaN high-electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) with iron (Fe)-doped buffer is investigated through Drain Current Transient (DCT) measurements and TCAD physics-based 2D device simulations. DCT characterization reveals two prominent deep-level traps E1 (∼0.5 eV) E2 (∼0.6 the HEMT. measured spectrum analyzed at different trap-filling pulse durations (10 µs–100 ms) to...

OBJECTIVE To assess the safety and efficacy of using a stone cone and an entrapment and extraction device (N-Trap®, Cook Urological, Bloomington, IN, USA) to avoid stone retropulsion during ureteroscopic lithotripsy for ureteric stones. PATIENTS AND METHODS This retrospective comparative study included 436 patients treated with ureteroscopic lithotripsy for a single ureteric stone from Februa...
