A new integrable (2+1)-dimensional nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger equation is proposed. The N-soliton solution is given by Gram type determinant. It is found that the localized N-soliton solution has interesting interaction behavior which shows change of amplitude of localized pulses after collisions .
A dispersion-managed optical system with stepwise periodic variation of dispersion is studied in the framework of a path-averaged Gabitov-Turitsyn equation. The soliton solution is obtained by means of iterating the path-averaged equation. A narrow resonance peak was observed at 1.54±0.01 GeV/c as an exotic baryon with strangeness S = +1 in the γ + n → K +K− + n reaction on C. The new state have a width smaller than 0.025 GeV/c and a Gaussian significance of 4.6σ.
