Bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) produce many vocalisations, including whistles that are unique to the individual producing them. Such "signature whistles" play a role in individual recognition and maintaining group integrity. Previous work has shown that humans can successfully group the spectrographic representations of signature whistles according to the individual dolphins that prod...

This work analyses dense and sparse 3D Deformation Signatures to represent temporal deformation instances. The signatures are employed in dynamic face recognition, however, they applicable other domains. is demonstrated for expression recognition. pushing need non-intrusive bio-metric measurements made its expressions recognition dominant players domains like entertainment, surveillance securit...

We deduce the periodicity 8 for the type of Pin and Spin representations of the orthogonal groups O(n) from simple combinatorial properties of the finite Clifford groups generated by the gamma matrices. We also include the case of arbitrary signature O(p, q). The changes in the type of representation can be seen as a rotation in the complex plane. The essential result is that adding a (+) dimen...

Nowadays, Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) are widely used to provide full security on computer networks. IDS are categorized into two primary types, including signature-based systems and anomaly-based systems. The former is more commonly used than the latter due to its lower error rate. The core of a signature-based IDS is the pattern matching. This process is inherently a computatio...

The holonomy group of a metric g at a point p of a manifold M is the group of all linear transformations in the tangent space of p defined by parallel translation along all possible loops starting at p 1 . It is obvious that a connection can only be the Levi-Civita connection of a metric g if the holonomy group is a subgroup of the generalized orthogonal group corresponding to the signature of ...

Let J be an involutive Hermitian matrix with signature (t, n− t), 0 ≤ t ≤ n, that is, with t positive and n− t negative eigenvalues. The Krein space numerical range of a complex matrix A of size n is the collection of complex numbers of the form ξ ∗JAξ ξ∗Jξ , with ξ ∈ Cn and ξ∗Jξ = 0. In this note, a class of tridiagonal matrices with hyperbolical numerical range is investigated. A Matlab progr...

We analyze a simple Split Supersymmetry scenario where fermion masses come from anomaly mediation, yielding ms ∼ 1000 TeV, m3/2 ∼ 100 TeV, and mf ∼ 1 TeV. We find that the decay chain of moduli fields → gravitinos → LSPs generates dark matter more efficiently than perturbative freeze-out, allowing for a light, LHC visible spectrum. These decaying moduli can also weaken cosmological constraints ...

Light emission during the collision of ions and cluster ions on a metal surface covered by rare gas matrices of variable thickness is reported. The light intensity as a function of distance from the metal surface follows the classical image dipole theory. The spectral signature of the light corresponds to the fluorescence of the neutral cluster species deposited as well as to fragments. The nat...

A new method of secure data aggregation for decimal having integer as well fractional part using homomorphic encryption is described. The proposed provides addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and averaging operations in the cipher domain both positive negative numbers. scheme uses matrices finite field Zp decryption keys. An embedded Digital signature along with integrity authentica...

The zeros of the Husimi function provide a minimal description of individual quantum eigenstates and their distribution is of considerable interest. We provide here a numerical study for pseudointegrable billiards which suggests that the zeros tend to diffuse over phase space in a manner reminiscent of chaotic systems but nevertheless contain a subtle signature of pseudointegrability. We also f...
