The purpose of this paper was to study existing and desirable status of social educations in secondary school. This was descriptive survey and statistical population included all teachers in secondary schools in Orumiyeh. Survey methodology was census conduction. Structured questionnaire on properties of social educations curriculum in secondary schools was applied in order to study teachers’ v...
Multi-agent Systems Product Lines (MAS-PLs) have emerged to integrate two promising trends of software engineering: agent-oriented software engineering and software product lines. In this paper, we propose a domain engineering process to develop MAS-PLs, built on top of agent-oriented and software product line approaches.
Proposed object-oriented approaches are still in an initial stage of investigation and are not powerfull enough to modelling Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) applications which manipulate ill-deened, evolving and multifaceted objects. In this paper, we argue in favour of a model, called CEDAR, which aims at easing the modelling process by endowing the object-oriented approach with a viewpoint notion.
This demo paper presents an interactive tabletop interface with tangible building blocks to engage business domain experts in process modelling. This interface, called Metasonic Touch, is a commercial product based on results of the European research project IANES (Interactive Acquisition, Negotiation and Enactment of Subject-Oriented Business Process Knowledge). BPM conference attendees will b...
Particles labelled 1 · · · n are arranged initially in increasing order. Subsequently, each pair of neighbouring particles that is currently in increasing order swaps according to a Poisson process of rate 1. We analyze the asymptotic behaviour of this process as n → ∞. We prove that the space-time trajectories of individual particles converge (when suitably scaled) to a certain family of rando...
We propose decision-oriented process modelling as a step towards human-centered process management, and demonstrate some implications of this model for the interaction between process modelling, process enactment, and process performance in a CASE environment. We also discuss the potential our approach offers for experiencebased process improvement.
Distributing process-oriented programs across a cluster of machines requires careful attention to the effects of network latency. The MPI standard, widely used for cluster computation, defines a number of collective operations: efficient, reusable algorithms for performing operations among a group of machines in the cluster. In this paper, we describe our techniques for implementing MPI communi...
