Acquired ichthyosis (AI) is a reactive cutaneous manifestation that can be associated with malignant hematological disease, including cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). Since it is difficult to distinguish AI from ichthyosiform mycosis fungoides, to select the treatment for CTCL with ichthyosis-like appearance and to evaluate its efficacy is sometimes challenging. In this report, we describe a c...
Cutaneous γ/δ T-cell lymphoma (CGD-TCL) is a recent entity described in the newly revised World health organization-European organization for research and treatment of cancer classification of cutaneous lymphomas. Only a few cases have been reported, of which two pediatric cases. A 15 years old child with a 6 months history of polyadenopathy, cutaneous lesions, general edema and deterioration o...

BACKGROUND Natural killer and natural killer-like T-cell lymphomas presenting in the skin usually demonstrate aggressive behavior, an angiocentric distribution and a characteristic immunophenotype. In contrast, primary cutaneous CD30+ lymphoproliferative disorders form a heterogeneous spectrum including anaplastic large cell lymphomas, the majority of which display a good prognosis. Lymphomas w...
Cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL) is a broad diagnostic group encompassing a spectrum of diseases with variable clinical presentations. Histologic and immunohistochemical confirmation is needed to establish a precise diagnosis. Primary cutaneous CD 30+ anaplastic large cell lymphoma, a definite variety of CTCL, presenting as a non-healing ulcer is presented here which, needed multimodality appro...
Classification of primary cutaneous lymphomas (PCLs) is the subject of ongoing controversy. Based on a series of 556 patients, the applicability of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) classification for PCLs was assessed and compared to the proposed World Health Organization (WHO) classification of hematologic malignancies. The large majority of patients could...
Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic inflammatory disorder with cutaneous lesions present in about one-quarter of the patients. Cutaneous lesions have been classified as specific and nonspecific, depending on the presence of nonnecrotizing epithelial cell granulomas on histologic studies. The development and progression of specific cutaneous sarcoidosis involves a complex interaction between cells of...
Post-transplantation cutaneous lymphoproliferative diseases (PTCLD) are rare, with 29 cases have so far been reported in the literature-only 4 cases underwent cardiac transplantation. Herein, we report on, to the best of our knowledge, the first case in the English literature of primary cutaneous CD4-positive small/medium-sized pleomorphic T-cell lymphoma in a cardiac transplant recipient.
