In this paper, we tried to accelerate the rate of convergence in solving second-order Fredholm type Integro-differential equations using a new method which is based on Improved homotopy perturbation method (IHPM) and applying accelerating parameters. This method is very simple and the result is obtained very fast.
We construct the algebra of integro-differential operators over an ordinary integro-differential algebra directly in terms of normal forms. In the case of polynomial coefficients, we use skew polynomials for defining the integro-differential Weyl algebra as a natural extension of the classical Weyl algebra in one variable. Its normal forms, algebraic properties and its relation to the localizat...
Beginning from the creator of integro-differential equations Volterra, many scientists have investigated these equations. Classic method for solving integro-differential equations is the quadratures method that is successfully applied up today. Unlike these methods, Makroglou applied hybrid methods that are modified and generalized in this paper and applied to the numerical solution of Volterra...
The homotopy analysis method [1, 2], is developed to search the accurate asymptotic solutions of nonlinear problems. This technique has been successfully applied to many nonlinear problems such as the viscous flows of non-Newtonian fluids [3, 4], the Korteweg-de Vries-type equations [5, 6], nonlinear heat transfer [7, 8], finance problems [9, 10], Riemann problems related to nonlinear shallow w...
An integro-differential equation, modeling dynamic fractional order viscoelasticity, with a Mittag-Leffler type convolution kernel is considered. A discontinuous Galerkin method, based on piecewise constant polynomials is formulated for temporal semidiscretization of the problem. Stability estimates of the discrete problem are proved, that are used to prove optimal order a priori error estimate...
We discuss a possibility to construct high order methods on uniform or mildly graded grids for the numerical solution of linear Volterra integro-differential equations with weakly singular or other nonsmooth kernels. Using an integral equation reformulation of the initial value problem, we apply to it a smoothing transformation so that the exact solution of the resulting equation does not conta...
In this paper, fuzzy variational iteration method (FVIM) is proposed to solve the second- order fuzzy Abel-Volterra integro-differential equations. The existence and uniqueness of the solution and convergence of the proposed method are proved in details. is investigated to verify convergence results and to illustrate the efficiently of the method.
The paper studies the finite-time blow-up theory for a class of nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations. The conditions for the occurrence of finite-time blow-up for nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations are provided. Moreover, the finite-time blow-up theory for nonlinear partial Volterra integro-differential equations with general kernels is also established using the blo...
We study a dynamic model for viscoelastic materials based on a constitutive equation of fractional order. This results in an integrodifferential equation with a weakly singular convolution kernel. We discretize in the spatial variable by a standard Galerkin finite element method. We prove stability and regularity estimates which show how the convolution term introduces dissipation into the equa...
In the present article, we implement the new iterative method with a reliable algorithm to solve the nth-order linear/ nonlinear integro-differential equations. The obtained results confirm the power of the method in reducing the size of calculations compared with the other methods.
