We consider the problem of convolutive blind source separation of stereo mixtures. This is often tackled using frequency-domain independent component analysis (FD-ICA), or time-frequency masking methods such as DUET. In these methods, the short-term Fourier transform (STFT) is used to transform the signal into the time-frequency domain. Instead of using a fixed time-frequency transform on each ...

In-band full-duplex (FD) communications have been optimistically promoted to improve the spectrum utilization and efficiency. However, the penetration of FD communications to the cellular networks domain is challenging due to the imposed uplink/downlink interference. This paper presents a tractable framework, based on stochastic geometry, to study FD communications in cellular networks. Particu...

AKL(FD) is an integration of (an extension of) the nite domain constraint system FD in AKL, a deep concurrent constraint programming language [CJH94]. In this paper we describe the implementation of the FD solver and its adaptation to the generic constraint interface of the AGENTS implementation of AKL. We also describe compilation techniques used by the AKL(FD) compiler.

In [2] we proposed the integration of finite domain (FD) constraints into the functional logic programming language TOYand, as result, presented the language TOY(FD) . We showed that TOY(FD) integrates the best features of existing functional and logic languages into FD constraint solving. This paper describes a sketch (due to space limitations) of the TOY(FD) operational semantics that consist...

A new method of migration using the finite element method (FEM) and the finite difference method (FDM) is jointly used in the spatial domain. It has been applied to solve a time relay 2D wave equation. By using the semi-discretization technique of FEM in the spatial domain, the origin problem can be written as a coupled system of lower dimensions partial differential equations (PDEs) that conti...

Objectives:This study aimed at investigating the effect of Iranian traditional remedy prepared from Apium graveolens and Trachyspermum copticom (AT) on the severity and frequency of symptoms in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD). Material and Methods:In total, 150 FD patients were included in this randomized double-blind trial, based on the ROME III diagnostic criteria, and they were divid...

Significance: High density diffuse optical tomography (HD-DOT) as applied in functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) is largely limited to continuous wave (CW) data. Using a single modulation frequency, frequency domain (FD) HD-DOT has recently demonstrated better localization of focal activation compared CW We show that combining and FD measurements multiple frequencies increases imaging...

Time of flight cameras may emerge as the 3-D sensor of choice. Today, time of flight sensors use phase-based sampling, where the phase delay between emitted and received, high-frequency signals encodes distance. In this paper, we present a new time of flight architecture that relies only on frequency—we refer to this technique as frequencydomain time of flight (FD-TOF). Inspired by optical cohe...

Distributed antenna network (DAN) is a promising wireless network which can mitigate the impacts of distancedependent/shadowing losses and fading. Frequency-domain space-time block coded-joint transmit/receive diversity (FDSTBC-JTRD) is an antenna diversity technique which allows an arbitrary number of transmit antennas while keeping the coding rate constant and is suitable for the downlink tra...
