冷温水槽など水路回路を備える装置の衛生管理の重要性が指摘され、対策の一つとして、冷温水槽循環水回路に組み込む除菌フィルターが開発された。除菌フィルター装着に伴い、流路抵抗が増加することによる熱交換能への影響について、実験回路を作製し検討を行った。除菌フィルター装着により、循環水流量は38%低下し、それに伴い人工肺入口出口温度較差は最大0.4℃低下し、熱交換係数は最大10%低下した。血流量を考慮した熱移動量では最大14%低下した。したがって、冷温水槽循環水回路への除菌フィルター装着による熱交換能への影響は少なからず発生した。しかし、人工肺入口出口温度較差はどの血流量でも最大0.4℃であり、冷温水槽の温度設定や操作のタイミングを検討することで十分対応が可能な範囲の影響であり、冷温水槽循環水の清浄度を担保するデバイスとしてはとても有用であった。今後は、その他の熱交換器における影響を確認する...
