Euler diagrams are the only diagrams that intuitively represent containment, intersection and exclusion of data, but none of the current automatic diagram layout techniques produce good layouts in a reasonable time. We introduce a dyadic model for the Euler equations and the Navier-Stokes equations with hyper-dissipation in three dimensions. For the dyadic Euler equations we prove finite time blow-up.
