Two series of polyamides and polyimides containing bulky trityl-substituted triphenylamine units were synthesized from condensation reactions of 4,4′-diamino-4′ ′-trityltriphenylamine with various dicarboxylic acids and tetracarboxylic dianhydrides, respectively.
