abstract: this paper presents the results of pullout tests on uniaxial geogrid embedded in silica sand under monotonic and cyclic pullout forces. the new testing device as a recently developed automated pullout test device for soil-geogrid strength and deformation behavior investigation is capable of applying load/displacement controlled monotonic/cyclic forces at different rates/frequencies an...

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>This article studies point-vortex models for the Euler and surface quasi-geostrophic equations. In case of an inviscid fluid with planar motion, model gives account dynamics where vorticity profile is sharply concentrated around some points approximated by Dirac masses. This contains two main theorems also smaller propositions several links between each other....

We study the collapse dynamics of a Bose-Einstein condensate subjected to sudden change scattering length negative value by adopting self-consistent Gaussian state theory for mixed states. Compared Gross-Pitaevskii and Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov approaches, both fluctuations three-body loss are properly treated in our theory. find new type assisted which amplify attractive interaction between atom...

In this paper we study implications of folds in both parameters of Lovász’ Hom(−,−) complexes. There is an important connection between the topological properties of these complexes and lower bounds for chromatic numbers. We give a very short and conceptual proof of the fact that if G− v is a fold of G, then bdHom(G,H) collapses onto bdHom(G − v,H), whereas Hom(H,G) collapses onto Hom(H,G− v). ...

in this study, stability of geosynthetic reinforced soil retaining walls investigated using plaxis code that is based on finite element method. the effects of axial stiffness, length and vertical space between geosynthetic layers, internal friction angle of soil wall and cohesion of foundation on deformations of wall and maximum axial force of geosynthetic have been investigated. results of ana...
